Spotlight: Miss Catherine Rodgers

MISS CATHERINE RODGERS – 3RD GRADE TEACHER

My name is Miss Kati Rodgers and I am a graduate of St. Philip school and taught at SPS for 19 years teaching all grades first through third. Now I am back to teaching third grade at Guardian Angel Academy. I graduated from Carlow College with a degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and Special Education. I also have a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Clarion University. I also have worked in the after school program and the summer camp program at SPS for about twenty-three years and continue to work in the after school program at Guardian Angel Academy. I also run Camp Invention, a STEAM camp, during the summer. I have been directing this camp for 4 years now and look forward to it every year. I am also currently involved in doing craft club during the school year. During my free time I enjoy making crafts, spending time at my cabin, and scrapbooking.
