MRS. LOUELLA JOSEPH – 5B CLASSROOM
The fifth graders have been working hard participating in STEM and computer coding challenges involving the robot Sphero. They have also been working hard on their original inventions for the Invention Convention competition that is held in April at Seton LaSalle High School. During this time, the students are actively applying the scientific method, problem solving, and higher level thinking skills to these STEM challenges. The students have also finished a classroom novel that teaches them the importance of friendship, loyalty, and acceptance among all people. In addition to their novels, they will also be working on their second book report for the year. In religion class, they have been growing in their faith by learning how the Sacraments give them special graces in their lives. They also participated in various service and school community activities during Catholic Schools Week earlier this month.
