Drop Off & Pick Up

MORNING DROP OFF

Either use the CAR RIDER LINE or A DESIGNATED PARKING SPOT TO WALK YOUR STUDENT(S) to the main entrance. NO PARKING OR STOPPING IN ANY OF THE FIRE LANES

Buses and cars will be in ONE DROP OFF LINE at the front entrance (orange line on the image below). Enter the driveway at the top by Greentree Rd from the road or parking lot and continue down to the front of the school. Stop at the front entrance to drop off your student(s) then proceed to the Mansfield exit.

The car rider line is ONLY for children who are able to get out of the car without assistance. If you have to put your car in park to help your child out of the car or to get something out of the trunk you must park in a parking spot and walk your child up to the door.

For the safety of all our students, parents and teachers - cars should not pass other cars that are still in the process of dropping off at the front door.

If you want/need to WALK YOUR STUDENT(S) TO THE DOOR, please park in the spots going up the hill or in one of the parking lots (highlighted in yellow on the image below). Please walk with your student(s) across the crosswalk for their safety passing through the drop off line.

DO NOT STOP AND/OR DROP OFF ALONG SIDE THE CHURCH. Stopping here blocks incoming traffic and endangers your children trying to cross traffic. Use the Drop Off Line or park in a designated spot.

AFTERNOON PICK UP

YOU MUST PARK IN A DESIGNATED PARKING SPOT, then walk toward the entrances and wait for your student(s). NO PARKING OR STOPPING IN ANY OF THE FIRE LANES

All buses will be routed to the rear of the school building, and bus riders will be put on to their appropriate buses via the gym door exit. No parents/caregivers are permitted to drive behind the building at dismissal.

All parents/caregivers picking up car riders/walkers may enter the school campus via Mansfield or Greentree Road (only to turn into the parking lot, not to proceed where the “buses only” arrow is indicated), and they must park in the parking lots (marked in yellow on the image below) exit their vehicles, and walk to the main walkway across from the front doors to await their children. Preschool parents must also park in the designated yellow areas, exit their vehicles, and walk down to the main walkway to pick up their students.

Children will be dismissed by grade to their parent/caregiver:

Preschoolers will be dismissed at 2:20 pm from the secondary front doors (not the Main Entrance Doors).
Kindergarten - 3th grade will be dismissed at 2:30 pm and then will exit the school from the secondary front doors (not the Main Entrance Doors), and will be released by grade. (#2 in the image below)
4th - 5th grade will be dismissed at 2:30 pm and then will exit the school from the far right door at the end of the building (above the cafeteria doors), and will be released by grade. (#3 in the image below)
6th - 8th grade will be dismissed at 2:30 pm and then will exit the school from the Main Entrance doors, by grade. (#1 in the image below)

No cars will be permitted to drive past the school entrance or park adjacent to the school entrance at dismissal.
All parents/caregivers must park and walk to pick up doors.
No cars may be parked in the front spaces immediately across from the Main Entrance doors.

All vehicles may then, cautiously and carefully, exit the school grounds via the Greentree Road exit or the Mansfield Road exit following pick up of their children.
